The Orient Helios RA-AG0029N10B is the grey open-heart dress watch on a steel bracelet. Orient USA lists the same watch as RA-AG0029N30B in the Helios line: a 40.5 mm steel case, a grey dial, and an open heart. It is a Japanese brand automatic for someone who wants to see the balance without moving up to a sports watch. This listing is currently out of stock.

The dial does not say Helios. The collection name comes from Orient’s own Helios page. It is related to the green bracelet sibling, the RA-AG0026E10B, not to the leather Bambino open hearts and not to a diver. For the wider dress range, see the Orient Bambino buying guide and the Orient classic collection.

Grey dial, open heart at 9

The dial is a grey gradient, lighter through the centre and darker toward the edge. Roman XII sits at 12 and Roman VI at 6. The other hours are applied stick indexes. The hands are silver-tone, and a slim central seconds hand runs from the middle. There is no date window.

The open heart is a cut-out at 9. You see the balance wheel, including the pink jewel in the listing photos. That window is not a small-seconds subdial. The seconds hand is still the central one. “Water Resistant” is printed above 6. The crystal is domed mineral glass, the same idea as the classic Bambino, not sapphire.

F6T22, not the date Bambino calibre

The movement is calibre F6T22. Orient USA prints the shortened code FT622 for this Helios. Publish it as F6T22. The case back in the gallery is engraved F6T22 and twenty-two jewels. It is automatic, it can be hand-wound, and it hacks. Power reserve is about 40 hours. It does not have a date, so it is not calibre F6724. F6724 is the date calibre used in many other Bambinos.

The case is stainless steel, polished on the bezel and brushed on the bracelet. Orient USA lists a push-pull crown, a fold-over clasp, 21 mm lugs, 12 mm thickness, and 30 metres of water resistance. Lug-to-lug is 46.5 mm on Orient’s Japan catalogue (the figure stored on this page) and 47 mm on the Orient USA sheet. Both describe the same case. We have not changed the stored 46.5 mm field.

Thirty metres means rain and handwashing, not swimming. The steel bracelet is easier to rinse than leather, but this is still a dress watch. It is not a limited edition. Orient’s sheet does not give a piece count, so this page does not invent one.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Orient Helios RA-AG0029N10B?

It is the grey open-heart Helios on a steel bracelet. Roman numerals mark 12 and 6, the open heart sits at 9, and there is no date. The store SKU is RA-AG0029N10B. Orient USA lists the same reference as RA-AG0029N30B.

What movement does the RA-AG0029N10B use?

Calibre F6T22, which Orient USA shortens to FT622. It is automatic, hand-winding, and hacking, with 22 jewels and about 40 hours of reserve. It is not the F6724 date calibre used in many Bambinos.

Does the open heart replace the seconds hand?

No. The open heart at 9 shows the balance wheel. Timekeeping seconds are the slim hand in the centre. There is no date and no small-seconds subdial.

How big is the case?

40.5 mm across and 12 mm thick, with 21 mm lugs. Lug-to-lug is 46.5 mm on Orient’s Japan catalogue and 47 mm on the Orient USA sheet. It wears as a dress watch, not as a 45 mm diver.

Can I swim with the RA-AG0029N10B?

No. Water resistance is 30 metres. Rain and handwashing are the sensible limit. It is not a dive watch, and the bezel does not rotate.

Is the grey Helios a limited edition?

No. It is a regular Helios colour, alongside the green, brown and blue bracelet versions. The case back in the gallery is a catalogue view, not a numbered edition engraving.

Where can I buy the RA-AG0029N10B in Australia?

This page is the Chronospride listing. It is currently out of stock. When a unit is here, it is inspected before dispatch and covered by Chronospride’s 12 months warranty, handled by our team.
