Orient Mako RA-AA0827V39B Purple Automatic Diver Watch (Limited Release)

The Orient Mako RA-AA0827V39B is a Japanese automatic diver in Orient’s Mako / Kamasu sports line. It uses the in-house F6922 movement with day and date, sapphire crystal, a unidirectional bezel, a screw-down crown, and 200 m water resistance on a stainless steel bracelet.

The 41.8 mm case (46.8 mm lug-to-lug, 22 mm lugs) is the same generation as other RA-AA082 references: compact enough for daily wear, robust enough for swimming and active use. The limited-release purple dial with a contrasting black bezel keeps the watch distinctive without leaving the proven Mako layout.

Is this a good everyday diver?

Yes if you want a mechanical sports watch you can swim in and wear to work. 200 m rating with a screw-down crown covers swimming and showering; it is not specified for air diving.
