Orient Stretto Date RA-AC0R03Y30B Brown Dial Automatic Watch

A$520.00

Availability: In Stock

The Orient Stretto Date RA-AC0R03Y30B is a compact automatic for someone who wants a brown dial without moving up to a sports watch. The sunburst dial, silver hands, and rose-gold-tone bezel read as dressy. Fifty metres of water resistance is more practical for Australian daily wear than a 30 metre dress watch.

This is a Contemporary Stretto Date, not a Bambino. The case is 38.5 mm across, 11.2 mm thick, and 45.5 mm from lug to lug, on a 20 mm brown leather strap. On a smaller wrist it sits closer to a classic dress watch than to a diver.

Dial, bezel, and strap

The dial is a brown sunburst with applied silver indices and silver hands. The date window is at 3 o’clock. The bezel is rose-gold-tone plated steel on a stainless steel case, not a solid gold watch. Orient’s specification table lists a brown leather strap, a pin buckle, and a wrist range of about 150 to 190 mm. The front photos match that strap. The case-back photo shows the light-coloured lining and an Orient stamp on the leather, but not the buckle itself.

One US shop page has listed a foldover clasp for this reference. The maker’s table says pin buckle. This page follows that table.

Movement and crystal

Calibre F6722 is Orient’s automatic with hand-winding and a hacking seconds hand. The maker lists 22 jewels, about 40 hours of power reserve, and a stated accuracy of +25 to -15 seconds a day. That range is the published specification, not a claim that every example will sit at one end of it. The catalogue code is RA-AC0R03Y. The watch sold here is RA-AC0R03Y30B. It is not a numbered limited edition. Orient lists a July 2025 launch for this reference.

The crystal is sapphire. Orient’s specification table calls it a flat sapphire crystal. The case back in the gallery is engraved “domed sapphire”, along with stainless steel and water resistant 5 bar. Both notes are on the record. The crystal is sapphire either way, and this page does not change the case-size attributes already stored for the watch.

Common questions

What movement does the Orient Stretto RA-AC0R03Y30B use?

Orient calibre F6722. It is an automatic with hand-winding and hacking, 22 jewels, and about 40 hours of power reserve. The exhibition case back shows the rotor. You can also hand-wind it and stop the seconds hand while setting the time.

What size is the RA-AC0R03Y30B?

38.5 mm across, 11.2 mm thick, and 45.5 mm from lug to lug. The lugs are 20 mm. Orient lists the weight at 64 g and a strap that fits about 150 to 190 mm. It is a compact dress size, not a 40-plus millimetre sports case.

Does the brown Stretto have a date?

Yes. The date window is at 3 o’clock. The dial is a brown sunburst with silver hands and applied indices. The bezel is rose-gold-tone. There is no day window and no open heart on this reference.

What is the water resistance of the RA-AC0R03Y30B?

50 metres, or 5 bar. That covers rain, hand washing, and a splash. It is not a dive watch. The crown is push-pull, not screw-down. Do not take it swimming or into the ocean.

Is the RA-AC0R03Y30B a good everyday watch?

For office and weekend wear, yes. The case is slim, the crystal is sapphire, and 50 metres is more useful than a 30 metre dress watch. The brown leather strap is the part that will show rain and sweat first. If you want the same case on a bracelet, look at the white RA-AC0R01S30B rather than treating this strap as an afterthought.

How is this different from a Bambino?

Bambino is a separate dress family. Many classic Bambinos are 30 metres with a mineral crystal. This Stretto is 38.5 mm, sapphire, 50 metres, and a Contemporary case with a rose-gold-tone bezel. Do not copy strap width or water resistance from the Bambino name alone.

Why does the case-back photo show an older origin stamp?

The gallery case back is engraved with an older Epson origin stamp, and the ring reads sapphire, stainless steel, and water resistant 5 bar. Catalogue photos can carry an earlier stamp. The origin note on this page is the line that applies to the watch we send.
