Today sees the release of six new Seiko 5 Sports creations that take inspiration from Street Fighter V, the latest edition of the world-famous Player VS Player fighting game, Street Fighter. Each of the six creations is inspired by the game’s central characters: Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li, Guile, Zangief and Blanka.

The dial’s design reflects the strength of Zangief’s muscular body. The circular pressed pattern reminds of the character’s special movement, Cyclone Lariat. The large indices and the magnifying calendar lens enhance the model’s bold look. The “Screw Pile Driver” move command is on the case back.
