The Orient Bambino RA-AC0027S is the 75th anniversary limited edition in Orient’s 40.5 mm Classic and Simple Style, not a plain white-dial Bambino. Orient launched it in January 2025 as 9,500 pieces. The dial uses the 1950s cursive Orient logo, rose-gold indexes and blue hands, on a beige nubuck strap, with a second leather strap in the box set.
What the dial looks like
Listing photos show a white dial, not cream. Roman numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 are rose gold, and the other hours are rose-gold sticks. The date window is at 3. Hands are blue. Under the cursive Orient logo, Automatic is written in script, and the lower dial reads Water Resistant. That 1950s logo is the anniversary cue. The regular bordeaux sibling, RA-AC0026R, uses the modern crest instead, and it is not limited.
The fitted strap in the front photos is beige nubuck with light stitching. Beside it, the same photo shows a dark brown crocodile-pattern calf strap and a separate pin buckle. Orient’s sheet lists the main strap as beige leather, 21 mm, pin buckle, and an additional leather strap with its own pin buckle. The January 2025 press release calls this the first Classic and Simple Style run with an easy-exchange strap. A UK page calls the extra strap quick-release. We describe what Orient lists and what the photo shows: beige nubuck fitted, darker calf strap as the spare.
The 9,500-piece case back
Orient lists a see-through case back, stainless steel, and a limited edition of 9,500. The press sheet says the back is marked for the 75th anniversary and engraved with a limited-edition number. Our case-back photo is marked Made in Thailand, stainless steel and limited edition, and it shows the engraving 0000/9500. That 0000 is a catalogue sample, not the serial of a watch we would send. You do not choose the number.
The movement is Orient calibre F6724: automatic, hand-winding, 22 jewels, power reserve over 40 hours, accuracy +25 to −15 seconds a day, date at 3. The UK page also lists a hacking seconds stop. Orient’s sheet gives magnetic resistance as JIS Type 1.
Size and crystal
Orient’s sheet: 40.5 mm wide, 46.5 mm lug to lug, 12.3 mm thick, 21 mm strap, wrist range about 150 to 190 mm, weight 58 g. Front glass is a domed box crystal, mineral rather than sapphire. The case-back crystal is flat. Water resistance is 3 bar, 30 metres. A UK regional page has listed 12.0 mm thickness, and some retailers list 11.8 mm. We have left the store figure at Orient’s 12.3 mm.
Orient’s press material shows a 75th anniversary box with this model. Our gallery does not include a box photo, so we do not describe a box you cannot see here. It is out of stock on this page at the moment. Check the stock button before you order.
The rest of the dress line is in Orient classic watches. Broader notes are in the Orient Bambino Australia buying guide.
